See rescued cheetahs up close as their keepers feed them.
Namibia has one of the largest wild cheetah populations in the world, and most of them live on farmland rather than in national parks. Some guest farms and lodges care for cheetahs that were orphaned or injured and cannot return to the wild, and feeding time is a chance to see these animals up close.
The feeding usually takes place in the late afternoon in a large enclosure, with a guide who explains the conflict between cheetahs and livestock farmers and the work being done to reduce it. We can include it at lodges in the Kalahari and in central Namibia.
