Itinerary
DAY 1 & 2: Kalahari
A warm welcome to the Soul of Africa. After arriving at Hosea Kutako Airport in the Namibian capital Windhoek you’ll be greeted by one of our dedicated safari reps.
Once we’ve organised all of your paperwork and led you to your vehicle it’s time to embark on a scenic 2-3 hour drive to the world-famous Kalahari, the first stop on this incredible adventure!
For the next two days and nights you’ll get to experience excitement and relaxation in equal measure. You’ll be given the chance to explore the Kalahari’s captivating landscapes on a sunrise safari or thrilling horse ride; you can even choose to become acquainted with the world’s fastest land animal during a thrilling cheetah feeding encounter.
Slowing down the pace and giving you some much-needed rest and relaxation time, you’ll have the option to spend hours at the stunning Bagatelle Spa and you may choose to spend your evenings on a majestic sundowner drive.
Once the sun has vanished over the horizon, your stunning dune chalet awaits. Kick back at Bagatelle Game Lodge and let the lodge staff cater to your every desire.

DAY 2, 3 & 4: Sossusvlei
Located within the largest conservation area in Africa, next on your magical trip you’ll arrive at striking Sossusvlei, arguably Namibia’s most stunning and best-known attraction.
For three nights you’ll stay at the glorious Hoodia Lodge, a desert paradise surrounded by dreamy mountains on the banks of the Tsauchab River.
Owing to the convenient location of Hoodia, you’ll only be a short drive away from the Sesriem gate, the access point to the world-famous scorched sand dunes of the Sossusvlei.
During your stay you’ll set off an an immersive hike, exploring the mystic earth and stopping to admire fascinating wildlife. You’ll also take a trip to Deadvlei, also known as a haven for photographers. Here you can capture some incredible shots of Camel Thorn Trees, with their shadows adorning the arid landscapes.
No trip to Sossusvlei would be complete without enjoy a stargazing experience; after all this region is home to some of the most unspoilt and unpolluted skies in all of Africa.

DAY 5, 6 & 7: Swakopmund
Known as the activity centre of Namibia, next you’ll arrive at charming Swakopmund, a popular holiday spot for Namibians and the country’s largest coastal town.
During your three night stay you’ll take part in a tour of Sandwich Harbour, a place renowned for its contrasting sea/dune landscapes and abundant birdlife. You’ll also get to enjoy a ‘Living Desert’ experience; track chameleons, snakes, skinks, scorpions, lizards, geckos and other small creatures, whilst learning more about the region’s desert ecology.
Aside from these two activities you’ll have plenty of time to relax in the luxury Strand Hotel. Spend your evening enjoying incredible food at one of the hotel’s three restaurants or head down to the beach bar for a refreshing cocktail before you retire to your grand sea-facing room
Living Desert Experience
DAY 8 & 9: Damaraland
After resting up and taking in the best of what Swakopmund has to offer you’ll journey on to rugged, rocky and desolate Damaraland; a place that both dazzles and inspires.
Throughout your two-night stay here you’ll enjoy plenty of thrilling activities. Head out on a desert-adapted elephant tracking excursion and learn how these huge mammals survive the harsh and arid environment. Visit Twyfelfontein and marvel at the sight of thousands of ancient rock engravings.
Owing to the devastating beauty of this mountainous region, it would be remiss of us not to include a trip to the majestic Burn Mountain. Visit this geological wonder, as well as the iconic Organ Pipes, and an exciting excursion.
Finally, whilst in Damaraland you’ll also get to enjoy scenic drives and an immersive self-guided nature walk. The spectacular Mowani Mountain Camp will serve as your home for the duration of your stay. Dwarfed by massive ochre boulders, Mowani is a sanctuary that emerges from the dusty landscapes.

DAY 10: Etosha South
By now you’re well in truly in the middle of your luxury safari adventure but we promise you that the excitement and surprises don’t end in Damaraland!
Next you’ll make your first stop at the phenomenal Etosha Region, spending one night in the exclusive Ongava Lodge, which is situated in the privately-owned Ongava Game Reserve along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park.
On day 10 the choice of what to do is absolutely yours. You could head out on a fascinating game drive or why not embrace Mother Nature in its purest form on a nature walk? You can even approach Rhinos, or how about a spot of bird watching? You’ll have to be quick to keep up with the number of incredible avian species that roam these parts though!
Cap off a special day with a romantic sunset drive through Onguma and rest up in your luxury, ensuite chalet at Ongava Lodge.

DAY 11, 12 & 13: Etosha East
From the splendid Ongava Reserve you’ll drive onwards to Etosha East, the most well-known region of the stunning Etosha National Park.
Here in one of the largest savannah conservation areas in Africa you are invited to enjoy a memorable game drive, getting up close and personal with a myriad of wildlife species, including many of Africa’s Big 5.
You can also opt to head out on another magical sunset drive and fascinating bush walk but the real highlight of your visit here is where you’ll be staying: the ultra-luxurious Onguma The Fort.
?The Fort is unlike any other, the only one of its kind in Namibia.
It is built in exactly the right place to give guests arguably one of the best sunset views in the whole of Namibia overlooking the serene scarceness of the Etosha Pans, adorned only with its wild animals and hundreds of Camel Thorn trees.
Upon arriving at The Fort, you will be received by not only the extremely friendly staff, but also massive raw walls, stunning stone cladded features and a huge tower with views toward Etosha and Fisher s Pan.

DAY 14: Central Namibia
Two weeks into your luxury self-drive safari and you could be forgiven for thinking that you’ve seen it all. Far from it! Next up you’ll spend an action-packed day in Central Namibia.
You’ll stay at the wonderful Otjiwa Safari Lodge, one of the oldest private game farms in Namibia, which offers about 25 different game species, such as giraffes, zebra, springbuck and mainly the white Rhino.
With so much surrounding wildlife to meet it’s little wonder you can choose to head on a game drive or nature walk here. You’ll even get the chance to experience a nocturnal drive, hoping to spot some of the elusive creatures that may not conduct their business by daylight.

DAY 15: Windhoek
After spending one final magical night in Otjiwa, your time in Namibia has come to an end. You’ll drive back to the capital Windhoek in time to catch a flight and start your journey to incredible Zanzibar!
DAY 16, 17, 18, 19 & 20: Zanzibar
You’ve finally arrived at Zanzibar and we’ve got some good news for you: paradise and tropical serenity awaits!
For the next five nights you’ll get to explore the very best that ‘Spice Island’ has to offer as you drink in breathtaking white beach views, relax and enjoy unparalleled tranquillity.
For water sports lovers, Zanzibar is a dream. During your visit you can take to the sparkling seas to enjoy a variety of activities including kitesurfing, kayaking, or how does a catamaran hobie cat adventure sound?
If those activities don’t satisfy your thirst for adventure, then an electric fat bike tour may peak your interest; you can even meet the friendly locals on a fun-filled town tour.
