See the best this magnificent country has to offer, with a group of like minded travellers in 11 days. This magnificent tour departs from Windhoek and heads south west to Sossusvlei. The Bushmen believe that the sand dunes are where the first stars and galaxies formed, come see if you agree? A vast sea of red dunes, sun bleached-white pans, blackened age-old trees - this landscape is a photographer’s paradise and beckons musicians, Instagrammers, and bloggers from all over the world! Namibia’s most famous landscape, Sossusvlei is known for the highest dunes in the world. After Sossusvlei we head north west to the coastal town of Swakopmund, for 2 nights. Swakopmund is nestled in the rolling fog banks along the Atlantic Coastline. This quint German town offers rest and a cool ocean breeze after the desert interior. (Pack a jersey!) Most travellers regret not staying an extra day. This is undoubtedly the adventure capital of Namibia. W We leave Swakopmund behind for Damaraland. This part of Namibia is often missed by the traveler that is strapped for time! And it is a great pity! Home to the desert-adapted elephant, lion, rhino, and oryx, to name just a few, this harsh land offers majestic beauty of its own! From Damaraland you will be making your way to Etosha National Park for a wildlife show like no other! The Etosha National Park is Namibia’s oldest and largest national park- and without doubt, the most popular tourist destination in the country as it guarantees the ultimate safari experience, second to none! From the Etosha pan, we depart for the very impressive Okonjima Nature Reserve! We’ll stay for a night and get to visit the AfriCat Foundation. Namibia places great emphases on conservation. Okonjima has played a significant part in the conservation journey!
