Serra Cafema

One of the most remote camps in Africa, on the Kunene River.

About

Serra Cafema at a glance

Serra Cafema lies on the banks of the Kunene River in Namibia's far north-west, where the river forms the border with Angola and the dunes of the Namib meet a ribbon of green.

It is one of the most remote camps in Africa. Boat trips on the river, walks and drives through the Hartmann Valley, and visits with the Himba people who live in the area make a stay here unlike anywhere else.
