Granite peaks and wide desert views at the foot of the Spitzkoppe.
Spitzkoppen Lodge sits at the base of the Spitzkoppe, the granite massif often called the Matterhorn of Namibia. The chalets look out over open plains, with the peaks rising straight out of the desert behind them.
It makes an easy stop between Windhoek or Swakopmund and Damaraland, with time for walks among the boulders, the San rock art in the hills and some of the clearest night skies in the country.
