Desert Rhino Camp

Track desert black rhino on foot in the Palmwag concession.

About

Desert Rhino Camp at a glance

Desert Rhino Camp lies in the vast Palmwag concession in Damaraland, one of the last strongholds of free-roaming black rhino in Africa. The camp works with Save the Rhino Trust, and tracking the rhino on foot and by vehicle with its trackers is the reason to come.

Between tracking days there are nature drives through a wild landscape of rocky hills and dry riverbeds, where desert-adapted elephant, giraffe and lion also roam.
