Hoodia Desert Lodge is a small, owner-run lodge on the banks of the Tsauchab River, the same river that runs on to Sossusvlei, a short drive from the Sesriem gate.
The thatched chalets look across the valley to the mountains, and early excursions to the dunes, Deadvlei and Sesriem Canyon, nature drives and stargazing are all arranged from the lodge.
