Swakopmund is Namibia's main coastal town, with German colonial buildings, palm-lined streets and a cool, often misty climate that is a welcome change from the desert. Our office is here, and it makes a relaxed base for a few days between Sossusvlei and Damaraland.
From here you can join a dolphin and seal cruise from Walvis Bay, a living desert tour, sandboarding or quad biking in the dunes, or a scenic flight over the Namib. In the evenings there are good seafood restaurants and cafés to enjoy.
