Flying between camps turns the travelling days into part of the safari: an hour over the dunes or the escarpment instead of a day on gravel, and more time where it matters. Every flight, transfer and activity is arranged; you simply arrive.
Botswana and the Zambezi region follow the same rhythm as Namibia: dry and cool from May to October, with September and October the hottest and best for big concentrations of game, then green and stormy from November to April. In the Okavango the flood arrives from the Angolan highlands around June and lingers into September, so mokoro and boating are at their best in the middle of the dry season. Victoria Falls is fullest from February to May and at its lowest, with the clearest views, from September to December.

The route
The route runs Windhoek, Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Damaraland, Okavango, Moremi and Maun. Light aircraft link the camps, with each camp handling the airstrip transfers at both ends; the connections between countries are on scheduled flights. The only driving is in the game vehicles.
Flight times are approximate and schedules are confirmed the evening before. Luggage on light aircraft is limited to about 20 kg per person in soft bags.
Day by day
Upon arrival at the airport, a representative will greet you after you clear customs and immigration, guiding you to board your light aircraft for your journey to Little Kulala. Sossusvlei, with its awe-inspiring landscapes and quiet allure, promises unforgettable adventures. An exclusive-use gate provides direct access to the iconic dunes of Sossusvlei and the striking vistas of Dead Vlei, where you can climb the 300-meter red dunes for panoramic views of the Namib Sand Sea World Heritage Site. Take in the desert and experience its vibrant life on guided walks, drives, e-bikes, or low-impact quad bikes.
After your time at Little Kulala, you'll take a light aircraft flight to Swakopmund. The journey is quick and efficient, whisking you from the heart of the desert to the charming coastal town.

From Swakopmund, you'll board a light aircraft for a flight to Damaraland, where the stunning landscape of rugged mountains and wide-open plains awaits. Onduli Ridge is a luxurious retreat that blends seamlessly into the natural beauty of the area.
Here, the vast desert vistas, ancient rock formations, and unique wildlife create an atmosphere of peaceful isolation, offering the perfect escape into nature. After a magical stay at Onduli Ridge, you'll take off on an early flight, ensuring you have plenty of time to catch your international connection from Windhoek to Botswana. Upon arrival, a representative assists you in boarding your next light aircraft for the thrilling journey to Camp Okavango.
The next 3-nights you'll immerse yourself in the Delta's wonders with water-based activities led by expert guides, navigating the meandering, reed-lined waterways in modern motorboats or traditional mokoros (dugout canoes). For a more intimate experience, enjoy guided bush walks on nearby islands, tracking larger wildlife in this water wilderness, while exceptional birding and fishing opportunities await. As a water-based camp, traditional game drives are not offered, but the Delta's beauty and wildlife can be fully experienced by boat and on foot.
From Camp Okavango, you'll take a short flight to Camp Moremi, where exciting new adventures await. Choose from thrilling game drives through diverse ecosystems or explore the Xakanaxa Lagoon by boat, discovering stunning landscapes and wildlife. You may spot Leopards in Mopane trees, Elephants grazing, or Lions camouflaged in the grass, while the wetlands are home to antelope like Impala, Kudu, and Waterbuck. Birding is spectacular, with sightings of Fish Eagles, Malachite Kingfishers, and even the rare Pel's Fishing Owl. Your expert guides will lead you through this pristine wilderness, ensuring an unforgettable experience in one of Africa's most diverse reserves.
On your final day, you'll depart from Camp Moremi, flying back to Maun Airport for your onward International Flight.
