DAY 7 & 8: Skeleton Coast
From Swakopmund its off to the world famous Skeleton Coast. Remote, deserted and beautiful, this National park will leave you with everlasting memories. Here you will stay at the luxurious Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp, one of Namibia’s premiere luxury camps. Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp is situated in the dry river beds of the Hoanib River. Overlooking a wide desert valley that slopes down to the sporadically flowing Hoanib River, Wilderness Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp looks out over a waterhole frequented by lions, elephants, giraffes, and brown hyenas. Amongst this unique desert wildlife and Namibia’s smaller creatures, discover relics of the Strandloper lifestyle from centuries past. Your time here will be spent doing once in a lifetime activities such as a guided Skeleton Coast Tour, Desert Adapted Elephant Tracking. You might also be lucky enough to find the desert adapted lions and giraffes. The pitch black night sky is also a stargazer’s dream.

DAY 12 & 13: Damaraland
In the heat, dust and stunning landscapes of Damaraland, there is a sanctuary - Mowani Mountain Camp. Dwarfed by massive ochre boulders, the camp is absorbed into the landscape, making it one with our shared history of life in this prehistoric land. Every soft curve or ragged edge frames the landscape in a different way, as if you are seeing for the first time, every time. This will be your home for the next two nights.
DAY 14, 15 & 16: Etosha (South)
Soft air, crackling with bird song and a chorus of lion roars, this is just a small, spectacular part of the Ongava experience. Rhino approaching on foot, game drives into the fabled Etosha National Park, nights spent around the fire, watching as some of the world’s most illusive and endangered animals drink at at subtly lit waterholes. This is your chance to be immersed in the wild.
Ongava Game Reserve provides our visitors with the ultimate in accommodation, offering comfort, luxury and a connection to the earth.
