DAY 1: Kalahari
Welcome to Namibia and the charming capital Windhoek! After landing you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly reps who will guide you through the car rental paperwork and give you all the documents you need ahead of your honeymoon adventure.
Once you’ve climbed in your vehicle it’s time to follow your sat-nav and set off on a scenic drive to the world-famous Kalahari. The Kalahari is a wildlife-lovers paradise and here you’ll be able to spot scores of exotic birds and mammals, including cheetahs, the world’s fastest land animal. Aside from unforgettable wildlife encounters you’ll spend the day enjoying a fascinating Bushmen walk. As the light starts to fade experience a romantic sundowner drive and spend some quality alone time in the dreamy Lapa Lange Game Lodge spa.

DAY 2 & 3: Sossusvlei
Once you’ve managed to prize yourself away from the splendid Lapa Lange Game Lodge it’s time to hit the open road: next stop the spectacular Sossusvlei. Dominated by towering dunes and astonishing petrified trees, this sprawling salt pan ranks as one of Namibia’s greatest attractions.
Your visit to Sossusvlei will encompass romance and adventure in equal measure. Embark on a daring hike as you explore the gigantic Big Daddy and Dune 45. Breathe in fresh air and feel at one with the planet as you experience a rejuvenating nature drive. As the last flickers of daylight drift away, head out on a magical sundowner drive.

DAY 4 & 5: Swakopmund
Continuing on your magical honeymoon safari adventure, next stop it’s Swakopmund, Namibia’s largest coastal town and a popular spot for Namibians on holiday.
Get set for activities galore here as you enjoy a mixture of epic coastal excursions complemented by adrenaline-inducing skydiving and fascinating desert tours. Over the course of two days you’ll visit Sandwich Harbour, a sweet water lagoon renowned for its pristine wildlife and incomparable diversity of birds.
Newlyweds will also get to head out on an unforgettable dolphin cruise, and if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also have the opportunity to experience kayaking with friendly seals. Scenic flights, fishing, and a Township tour will enrich your trip and when it’s time to relax you will retreat to the cosy surroundings of Atlantic Garden Boutique Hotel.
Atlantic Garden Boutique Hotel is conveniently situated in the centre of Swakopmund next to the historical Altes Amtsgericht building, on the corner of Theo-Ben Gurirab & Tobias Hainyeko Street. The modern hotel with a fresh and feel-good atmosphere is within walking distance of the beach (approx. 185 m) and is the only hotel in the area with a beautiful garden to relax in after an action-packed day.

DAY 6: Damaraland
For the next leg of your honeymoon self-drive safari, desolate Damaraland awaits. Amongst this striking collection of rugged landscapes, hidden in the rocky clefts you will find Twyfelfontein, a historic site that along with the Brandberg contains some of Southern Africa s best prehistoric rock art and engravings.
Satisfying any thirst for adventure, during your one night stay you can choose to tour the majestic Burnt Mountain and consume jaw-dropping views on a scenic drive.
Damaraland is arguably the most underrated wildlife-watching regions in Southern Africa. One glance at the barren landscapes and you might think nothing thrives here. That perception is challenged by the desert-adapted elephants and other wildlife that roam free here and you’ll get to track them during your visit if you wish.
Away from the heat, dust and stunning landscapes of Damaraland, there is a sanctuary Mowani Mountain Camp. Dwarfed by massive ochre boulders, here you’ll spend a night in a luxury suite resting and recovering ahead of your next stop.

DAY 7 & 8: Etosha
No safari to Namibia would truly be complete without a visit to iconic Etosha. From your stunning base of Ongava Lodge you’ll have easy and convenient access to some of the region’s most magical attractions.
Over the course of two days, you and your new bride/groom can enjoy an incredible Etosha National Park game drive, stopping to admire the abundant wildlife that congregate around the park’s many waterholes. Etosha National Park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise: take your time documenting some fascinating avian species as they soar through the pristine skies.
In keeping with the romantic theme of this safari, you may opt to enjoy a special Onguma sunset drive or enjoy some quality time together as you experience a soul-cleansing nature walk.
When you are both ready to call it a night retreat to your private chalet at Ongava lodge and make the most of the luxury amenities which include an incredible elevated dining deck.

DAY 9: Central Namibia
